Double Booked, the latest release from Robert Glasper will mark his third release on Blue Note.  In celebration of the pianist’s new work, Glasper will hold his official album release party at Le Poisson Rouge on 08.30.09.  Derrick Hodge, Casey Benjamin, and Chris Dave join him along with Vincente Archer on bass, a backing crew that has become familiar to all of Glasper’s fans.  Special guests will also be present and take note that both Mos Def and Bilal appear on the record, regular guests at Robert Glasper’s past New York shows.  Cover is $15 with an RSVP to events@revivedalive.com; doors open at 8:00 PM.
