Its the Abstract
On 6.20.07 YOYO NYC returned for their third installment at Love.  Despite a much smaller crowd than the last event its damn near impossible not to have a good time when you have one of the finest rappers ever in charge of spinning music.  (DJ) Q-Tip did his thing for over two hours, starting with some classic soul jams moving into some late 80’s/early 90’s hip-hop, even improvising over beats at times.  Its no secret that he can rhyme but many forget about his impressive production resume over the past decade, starting with ‘One Love’ for Illmatic

YOYO NYC’s signature 40’s for DJs Lily Allen, Mark Ronson, Seb Chew, Aaron LaCrate and Leo Greenslade

This was a really good show. I really didn’t know what to expect, but q-tip really did come through on his set. Not to mention that without a doubt the YOYO crew was on top of their game as well.
