As far as I know, GZA was the first to perform an album live straight through with Liquid Swords.  The concept was really popular with fans and promoters so now more and more groups are starting to try it out with their classic albums.  Here’s a look at some shows all over the map giving it a go…

• ●Yesterday (02.08.08) Camp Lo performed Uptown Saturday Night for the first time ever with Big Wheel as a backing band
• ●The All Tomorrow’s Parties (ATP) Festival takes place in London late May.  Public Enemy will be performing It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back at London’s Brixton Academy, Manchester Academy, and Glasgow’s ABC1
• ●Don’t Look Back, the promoters working on the ATP Festival are also bringing Raekwon over to U.K. club Koko to perform Only Built 4 Cuban Linx in its entirety 05.19.08
• ●This June the Popped! Festival goes down in Philadelphia.  The festival has confirmed that The Roots will be playing Things Fall Apart as the headlining performance
