…Maybe it’s because Pete Rock is spinning a free event tonight but the show scheduled for him with guests at S.O.B.’s on Wednesday is officially cancelled.  Things aren’t looking so good for the Bootsy Collins tribute to James Brown with the original JB Band.  For the second time now the show has been cancelled. Also, the Jim Jones show at Mercury Lounge has now been postponed until 12.01.08. Finally, Aceyalone and Evidence have also been added to the lineup for Decon Records’ CMJ showcase event while Abstract Rude, Blueprint, and DJ Rare Groove will all be performing opening sets for the upcoming Atmosphere shows in NYC.
