It’s been more than a year since Rolling Stone declared them one of the top bands to watch in 2008 but finally, the debut album from Chester French is set for release tomorrow.  Love the Future is the first release from the Harvard pop-duo on Star Trak which will feature ‘She Loves Everybody,’ the single that got the buzz going for them last year.  In support of Love Chester French will be performing at a number of upcoming events throughout the city.  Tomorrow (04.21.09) they’ll open for Asher Roth at Blender Theatre as both have albums that come out this week.  On 04.29.09, they’re back again for a special intimate in-store performance at Steven, the Steve Madden store on Rivington being presented by Giant Step.   This show is free with an RSVP here; space is limited and 21+.  Finally, the Ivy Leaguers hit Highline Ballroom on 05.05.09 for an all ages show with Lady Sovereign.  Tickets are $15 in advance.
