For the past 10 years I have been hitting up a decent number of shows around New York City and the tri-state area.  I’ve come to realize that aside from the ticket stubs from the events themselves, I had no solid documentation of so many of these great shows.  Prior to the creation of this site I had been writing on staff for several different publications in both print and online form.  However, the work was inconsistent and many times my reviews weren’t published in a timely matter. Rather than dealing with lazy editors I decided to form deadlymelody.com as a way for me to do everything on my own.  Hopefully, this site will become a solid source for photos and recaps of events, album reviews and a variety of news that I find interesting.  While this site may have just launched today, I’ve been working the past few months establishing contacts and updating all of my resources to try and ensure that there is a lot of content and updates.  My previous site was somewhat of a flop because I didn’t do that before.   Any comments or feedback is appreciated, this site is just in the beginning stages and I plan for it to develop further within the coming months.
