The 2008 Afropunk Festival is back in Brooklyn this year running from 07.05.08 - 07.13.08.  On 07.0508 they will be kicking it off with their opening night party at BAM Skate Park featuring clinics with BMXers and pro skaters, DJ’s, exhibitions, and competitions.  Along with live music by Janelle Monae, The Apes, Shawn Hewitt and Millsted.  Below is the rest of the lineup, I’ll get you more details on film screenings and lecture panels later.

4th Annual Afro-Punk Film Festival @ BAM Rose Cinemas: 7.04.08 - 7.09.08
