Last year I first covered Dre Day on here, Mean Red’s dedication to hip hop’s king Dr. Dre. Dre Day has become a tradition, partying at top clubs in the city in dedication of Dre on his birthday, 02.18.09. This year they’ll move the party from last year’s 205 Club to the larger Santos Party House for another special night of Dre production spinning all night. Confirmed DJs for this year include Egg Foo Young, Nick Hook, Project Matt, and your hosts Cosmo Baker & Frog. Cover is $5 in advance with an RSVP or $10 at the door.
