The Rub throwing a party in Brooklyn is hardly news…the DJ Crew of Cosmo Baker, DJ Ayres and DJ Eleven have been holding it down at Southpaw on the first Saturday of every month since summer ‘99.  On 12.22.07 The Rub move from Park Slope to Fort Greene where they will be hosting a loft party at 12Turns13 off of Myrtle Ave.  Joining them will be special guests Max Glazer of Federation Sounds and Waajeed, one of the nicest producers around right now (Platinum Pied Pipers, etc.).  Advance tickets are available for $10 and are suggested to guarantee entry since this is supposed to be a small space. 

For New Years Eve The Rub will return to Southpaw for their official New Year’s party.  They hold it down upstairs with DJ Sureshot spinning classic R&B downstairs all night.  Tickets are $40 and includes champagne and food, 21+.
