On 02.06.08 S.O.B.’s will present BoB Marley Day for the 25th year in a row, a film and musical tribute to him.  A screening of Africa Unite will start the night at 8:00 PM followed by music from The New Kingston Band and DJ Liondub.

On Wednesday February 6th, S.O.B.’s celebrates Bob Marley Day for the 25th year in a row, with the only NYC celebration on Marley’s actual date of birth, featuring The New Kingston Band and DJ LionDub on the turntables.  Palm Pictures will be celebrating the release of it’s new film, Africa Unite: A Celebration of Bob Marley’s Vision with a live screening at 8pm. The documentary follows the Marley Family during their trip to Ethiopia to celebrate Bob’s 60th Birthday and spread his message of African unity. The film is a stirring documentary for all Africans and African-Americans, carrying the message that Africa is one and that we should all unite for the better of African people worldwide.
