The Film Forum nonprofit cinema at 209 West Houston Street is always screening classic films.  On 08.17.07 and 08.18.07 they will be showing Superfly.  This is a chance to see the movie on the widescreen, a much different experience than DVD.  On top of that you get to hear Curtis Mayfield playing the entire time on theatre speakers.
