This summer Joe’s Pub is putting together a number of different free concerts and events at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.  While there are plenty of different shows that might be of interest, the best looking one so far is the 40th Anniversary Concert of Hair.  Hair was the musical which Galt MacDermot composed the score for.  If you aren’t familiar with the man’s work, you may remember him from the residency he did last month with his New Pulse Jazz Band or simply as the only guy Oh No samples on Exodus into Unheard Rhythms. The anniversary shows takes place 09.22.07-09.24.07 at 7:00PM and free tickets are distributed the day of the show from 1:00-3:00PM.  Come check out the hype for yourself.
